The Matilda Australian-made pure wool, double-layered underblanket is made from Australian ‘downs’ long-staple wool - a wool regarded globally as the finest for use in bedding. The underblanket has 3 layers – a wool fleece layer, a wool wadding layer and a cotton layer. Bambi’s Matilda Wool-on-Wool Underblanket has a top layer of Pure New Wool with a 400gsm pile. This layer helps to distribute bodyweight. The fill is made of 300gsm wool wadding and helps to insulate and add comfort. The bottom layer of the underblanket is made of 100% superior quality cotton weave. The underblanket is reversible for all year round comfort: use it on the woollen pile side in winter for insulation; then turn it to the cooler cotton side in the summer. The cotton absorbs moisture and the wool helps dissipate it away from the body.
