2015 was Australian coldest Winter! What for 2016?

2015 was said to be the coldest winter in Australia for the past 26 years, what does this mean for 2016? Are we going to freeze our butts off?

The climate outlooks website of Australia shows Tasmania and Victoria to have the coldest winters with a predicted average of 3.7 degrees for the nights and a maximum median of 14.3 degrees across the days.

NSW and SA will see an average of 4.6 degrees across the winter nights  and a maximum of 17.8 degrees across the days.

Its looks like it is going to be a cold one again, possibly even colder then 2015.

Below you can see the general climate for the whole of Australia. Throughout winter these areas can change dramatically.
